Within application settings in the administrator profile there is a setting called When availability is unknown search by. The options available are:

  • Assumed Availability – this is how Adapt currently searches. When availability is unknown (i.e. blank calendar entries) it will assume the Candidate is available and show them as a match for these dates.
  • Assumed Unavailability - When availability is unknown (i.e. blank calendar entries) it will assume the Candidate is unavailable and will not return them in a search for these dates.
  • Preferences - When availability is unknown (i.e. blank calendar entries) it will use the Candidate working preferences and will return them if the unknown availability matches their working preferences.
