A description of the Pipeline Report

This report shows the pipeline Jobs and potential revenue by Region, Office, Team and Consultant for a date range. It finds all pipeline Jobs (Temp regular, Temp shift, Contract and Permanent) where the start or end dates fall within the entered dates and shows the calculated forecast and actual revenue based on Job Pay and Charge Rates, where set.

To run the report:

  • Click on the report name to launch the input screen.

  • Enter the criteria for the report (mandatory fields are highlighted in red).

  • Select the required format.

  • Click Confirm to run the report.

Note: For the date range entered, the start date will need to be a Monday and the end date a Sunday. This is so the system can calculate the weeks / months and quarters correctly.

For a date range, 

You can Filter by:

  • Job (owning) Region

  • Job (owning) Office

  • Job (owning) Team

  • Job (owning) Consultant

  • Client

  • Job Status (Mandatory - Choose from: All, filled, unfilled)

  • Job Type (Mandatory - Choose from:All, Contract, Perm and Temp) 

You can choose to Group the report presentation by:

  • Client

  • Consultant

  • Job status 

You can Sort by (defines first sorting order):

  • Client

  • Job created date

  • Job end date

  • Job start date

  • Job status

  • Job title 

Note: To check the Job Owning Region, Office, Team Consultant, look at the Management page.

Definitions

If the report is run without any grouping, you get:

For Temp Pipeline (Temp Regular and Temp Shift Jobs)

For each Temp Job:

  • Details of the Job, Client, Contact, Created Date, Start date and End date, No. Required, No. so far, Status, Pay rate, Charge rate, hourly margin, gross margin forecast, gross margin revenue, gross margin actual, revenue actual, consultant split % and the gross margin forecast, gross margin revenue, gross margin actual, revenue actual for the consultant splits followed by Job totals and Consultant totals.

For Permanent Pipeline

For each Permanent Job:

  • Details of the Job, Client, Contact, Created Date, Start date, No. Required, No. So Far, Status, Salary, Fee %, Fee, Consultant Split % and the Fee for the consultant splits followed by Job and Consultant totals.

For Contract Pipeline

For each Contract Pipeline:

  • Details of the Job, Client, Contact, Candidate, Created Date, Start date and End date, No. Required, No. So Far, Status, Pay Rate, Charge rate, Pay Period, hourly margin, Daily Margin, Weekly Margin, gross margin forecast, gross margin revenue, gross margin actual, revenue actual, consultant split % and the gross margin forecast, gross margin revenue, gross margin actual, revenue actual for the consultant splits followed by Job and Consultant totals.

Note: This Report is only run in excel.

You can get 3 different views when grouping. For example when grouping by Client, the report shows each of their temp pipeline regular jobs, temp pipeline shift jobs, contract pipeline jobs and permanent pipeline jobs with all the fields as above, followed by Consultant totals.
