There are 3 methods of Creating Candidates although they all work in the same way:

  1. Creating Candidates from the ‘right click’ menu

  2. Creating Candidates from the ribbon

  3. Creating Candidates from an open email

To create a Candidate, a CV should be attached to the email. The ‘Create Candidate’ option will show a list of the attachments to the email from which the user chooses the CV.
Once selected, the user will be directed to the ‘Resume Import’ screen in Adapt. Any information found will have been parsed into Adapt and the user can check the information is correct before importing using the standard Adapt CV import process.
Note - If the email has no attachments then no documents will be displayed.

1.Creating Candidates from the ‘right click’ menu

To quickly create a candidate, select an email with a CV attached and use the right click on your mouse. Select ‘Adapt’ and the ‘Create Candidate’ arrow. By selecting the document required, the ‘Resume Import’ screen will open in Adapt and the CV will be parsed in, ready for import.

2.Creating Candidates from the ribbon

Creating Candidates (as detailed above) can also be done from the Adapt tab on the Outlook ribbon.

Select the ‘Adapt’ tab on the Outlook ribbon. Select the email(s) required with a CV attached. The ‘Create Candidate’ option will then show a list of the attachments to the email from which the user chooses the CV.

3.Creating Candidates from an open email

Creating Candidates can be done from the Adapt tab on the Outlook ribbon in an open email. Open an email with a CV attached. Select the Adapt tab on the Outlook ribbon. The ‘Create Candidate’ option will show a list of the attachments to the email from which the user chooses the CV.
