If an Agency is working with Temp Regular or Contract Candidates where the AWR regulations do not apply, they can 'switch off' the AWR references and checks. This means that all fields and references relating to AWR will be hidden.

There is a new setting in application settings to enable users to set AWR to No/Yes. It will be set to Yes (switched on) by default, so Clients should ask their Erecruit Representative if they require it to be set to No (switched off).

When set to No, all assignment booking workflows will automatically set the AWR exempt field to ‘Yes’, the AWR Exempt Reason to ‘Not Tracking’ and the AWR clock will not be started. Contract and Temp Regular job booking and assignment workflows and related screens will have AWR references and Pre AWR Pay and Charge values hidden.

Reports, Searches, and some Studio Widgets may still show some reference to AWR.

When AWR is switched off, users will notice references to AWR hidden from various Contract and Temp Regular screens and journal entries. The following are examples showing the onscreen changes:

When AWR is switched off, the following fields will not be shown on Contract or Temp Regular bookings:

  • Post AWR Charge

  • Post AWR Pay

  • AWR Details

  • AWR Exempt?

  • Hiring Entity

  • Reason for Exemption

  • Placement History Details through another Temporary Work Agency

  • Has Worked for the same Client

  • Accumulated qualifying weeks

  • Verified?

When AWR is switched off, the following fields will not be shown on Contract or Temp Regular assignments:

  • AWR

  • AWR Exempt

  • Exemption Reason

  • AWR Qual Notified
